Lydia is Admired
A study in composition and body language from a drawing session with Lydia. This was quite a turning point in my artistic chronology. I began to see the artist as a voyeuristic persona, whose curiosity imposed itself upon victimized subjects. Both she and her roommate modeled for me several times (fully clothed). Those modeling sessions left me feeling very disillusioned with the whole practice of figure drawing, since I had developed a debilitating sympathy for the model.
