Feeling Good

I was drawing a cartoon representing the spark of the Holy Spirit, radiating from an individual. When I looked up to see a girl playing the violin. I was struck by the way that her body moved: as if the were constructed with a swivel. So I connected the way that I was feeling that day with two swiveling girls. Two were necessary to balance the composition.

Flood the Lobby
An installation of two very large paintings confront visitors leaving the auditorium of Flood. I created two similar, yet markedly distinct abstract paintings to inspire thought, discussion and perhaps a bit of introspection.
